Zoku has introduced three new ice mold sets that are designed to help consumers get their cocktail on. Each features two oversized silicone ice molds in the shape of a jack, sphere or cube.
According to the company, the design-driven molds, in slate with white accents, create oversized geometric shaped ice that melts at a slow, even rate to enhance the beverage experience. Big ice adds flair and visual appeal, stated Zoku, and the molds are also ideal for creating flavored ice cubes made with fruit juice, lemonade, infused water, coffee, herbs, edible flowers and other ingredients.
The silicone molds can be filled with water and then frozen for at least eight hours. The molds cover the ice completely to protect flavor and texture in the freezer. To remove, a consumer can pull the jack or sphere mold apart and push on the bottom of the mold to release the ice. For the cube, remove the lid and open the two halves, and then use the handy tab to neatly peel the silicone off the ice cube.
The new Zoku Cocktail Ice Molds hold four ounces each and are available for immediate shipment, with a suggested retail price of $16.99 for each set. The Ice Ball Molds also come in red with white accents.
