Zak Designs recently received a Good Design Award from The Chicago Athenaeum, for its HydraTrak design concept, in which consumers utilize colored bands as an easy way to track their daily water intake. The design concept is present on both straw tumblers and hydration bottles.
“Around the world, the Good Design logo is an instantly recognizable seal of design excellence, and we are incredibly honored to be included among the distinguished companies who have received this coveted award,” said Irv Zakheim, chairman and CEO, Zak Designs.
Consumers can keep track of their water intake by sliding one of the colorful silicone bands up to the top of the tumbler or bottle each time it’s refilled, or take them off and wear each as a bracelet.
In addition, Zak’s HydraTrak tumbler will become a part of the museum’s permanent design collection.
