Wüsthof has put the spotlight on its oyster knife for the holiday gifting season. The knife is designed for opening and removing the meat from oysters.
According to the company, the knife features a high-carbon 2.25-inch blade that is situated next to a high quality steel hilt to protect a user’s hands from the oysters sharp edges.
In order to ensure a user’s hand does not slip, the company added a double-riveted polymer handle to encompass the full-tang blade. This also helps the user keep control over the knife while in use. The Wüsthof oyster knife is made in Germany and has a suggested retail price of $79.99.
