Williams-Sonoma announced in an email blast to customers today that the company has expanded its proprietary Open Kitchen line with new Cast-Iron cookware starting at $80. The collection also includes hard-anodized and stainless steel pieces.
According to the website, the line drew inspiration from the open kitchens at Williams-Sonoma employees’ favorite restaurants. As regards the cast-iron cookware, the pieces are coated with porcelain-enamel. A Dutch Oven is available in 2 3/4-quart or 4 3/4-quart sizes with suggested retail prices of $100 and $150, respectively. Available colors include white and gray with black interiors.
A 9 1/2-inch $90 cast-iron fry pan with a wooden handle and a 10-inch square $80 cast-iron grill pan round out the cast-iron offerings. Manufacturing for all items was in Turkey, the company said.
