To celebrate the milestone, the retail outlet is having an anniversary sale on Saturday, May 4. According to the Toque Blanche website, there will be discounts on Le Creuset, Staub, Global, Chantal, Wellness Mats, Wüsthof and more. Additionally, the store will also offer free knife sharpening, cooking demos, prizes and a gift with a purchase of more than $25.
Toque Blanche is owned by Charles Nelson. Originally named Chefworks when it was was founded in 1997, the store stocks a wide variety of cookware, bakeware, cutlery, cooks’ tools and accessories, as well as gourmet food items, many of them sourced locally and regionally. The store won the gia Award for global retail excellence in 2016.
