The Inkwell Home Store, a Corvallis, OR-based store, is celebrating 50 years in business. The milestone will be marked with a series of sales, giveaways and more, and a kickoff party.
Owned by Pat and Amy Lampton, three generations of the family have worked in the store, starting with Pat’s parents. Son Sam Lampton is currently in transition to take over the business, according to the Corvallis Gazette Times.
In the article, Pat Lampton explained that the secret to the store’s success is having a quality product mix.
“We never want to sell anything that we would not buy ourselves,” he said.
The Inkwell spans more than 21,000 square-feet and includes gourmet housewares goods, furniture and more. It employs 20 people.
Gourmet Catalog & Buying Group, to which The Inkwell Home Store is a member, extended its congratulations on Facebook.
