On April 25, The Extra Ingredient is welcoming a bit of local Polish flare to its shop. The Greensboro, N.C.-based retailer will be hosting a day-long Polish Pottery trunk show, featuring what it said is never-before-seen pieces from Ceramika Artystyczna.
The pieces are said to be hand-painted and made from durable stoneware that can be used in the oven, as well as serving pieces. The Extra Ingredient will also provide a free gift to customers that spend over $25 on polish pottery that day.
Further, the event will also include tastings and drawings for a free gift.
According to the Ceramika Artystyczna website, the company is based in Boleslawiec, Poland where its team of skilled artisans hand paints each piece. It also said that each piece, even if it is the same pattern, will have slight variation, making each piece unique.
In addition to being oven-safe, all of the pieces are safe for use in the microwave and freezer as well.
