Atlanta, GA-based The Cook’s Warehouse will host chef Ford Fry for a cooking class on May 10 from 7 to 9 p.m in its downtown location. The class is in support of Fry’s new cookbook, “Tex Mex: Traditions, Innovations and Comfort Foods from Both Sides of the Border.”
According to the retailer’s website, the class will include a tasting of various salsas, Fry’s favorite recipes from the book as well as a cocktail. In addition, attendees will receive a copy of Fry’s cookbook, included in the $79 ticket price.
The Cook’s Warehouse said that Fry’s cookbook, “Tex-Mex,” puts an approachable, inviting spin on all the classics with recipes like the OG Nacho, Braised Beef Barbacoa Tacos, West Texas-Style Stacked Shrimp Enchiladas, Cowboy Gringo Table Hot Sauce and the “El Jefe” Margarita.
