Escalon, CA-based The Butler’s Pantry is adding a new way to get people into the store. Owner Jamie Butler announced a community shared-space concept called The Inspired Table. The Inspired Table is designed to bring those people without a devoted office or workspace into the store and enjoy complimentary WiFi, coffee and water.
“We are so excited to announce the launch of #theinspiredtable: A shared creative workspace at The Butler’s Pantry every second Tuesday of the month from 9am-1pm beginning Tuesday, September 11. This is for anyone seeking community! Whether you’re a self-employed entrepreneur, small business owner, or simply tired of feeling unmotivated while working from home, this is for you,” was posted on the store’s Facebook page.
Butler started her independent gourmet housewares store out of a truck more than five years ago. While she now has a retail store, she continues to take the truck to local events, Farmer’s markets and bridal showers.
