Tyler, TX-based Sweet Gourmet will host local TV chef and cookbook author Christine Gardner and local cooking instructor Caroline Wylie for Easter-inspired cooking classes on April 6.
According to the store’s website, Wylie will present an easy French meal at 10:30 am. The class will feature dishes that can be made ahead of time, in preparation for Easter. The menu will include: Palmiers with Tapenade, Goat Cheese Mousse, Vegetable Tian, Roasted Rack of Lamb and Chocolate Pots de Creme. Wylie will also include two cocktails: a Kir Royal and Champagne and Campari. The cost of this class is $45.
Meanwhile, at 5:30 pm that same day, Gardner will prepare another spring-themed menu. Her selections will include: Egg Salad & Avocado Bruschetta; Prosciutto & Cantaloupe Caprese Salad with Basil-Lime Vinaigrette; Roasted Side of Salmon Glazed with Pomegranate Molasses; Sautéed Snap Peas with Meyer Lemon & Mint Aioli; Rum Baba with Blood Orange Glaze & Cream and two cocktails: a Pear Blossom Spritzer and a Limoncello Collins. The fee for this class is $60.
Both of the classes include goody bags.
