While Chapel Hill, NC-based Southern Season announced its closing at the end of 2019, the company is now looking to auction off some of the kitchenware and cookware items once used in the store and its restaurant, Weathervane, as well as fixtures and furniture from the store.

According to The News & Observer, a local media outlet, the Wester Auction house will be auctioning off the goods starting on February 3 at 6 p.m. Sale 1 will be small items from the store that will sell in an online-based auction. Sale 2 will be a live auction, held on February 4, for the larger goods as well as the restaurant equipment.

Goods were previously auctioned off from its other shuttered locations.

The brand’s downfall began in 2016 after it quickly expanded with both Southern Season and A Taste Of Southern Season locations. The company was sold at auction in 2016, enable to sustain its growth. It was purchased by Calvert Retail, which owned the brand at its closure.
