Sagaform will launch new tableware at this year’s International Home + Housewares Show, held in Chicago next month. The new launches include a cake stand and gilded cake server and Flip Carafe.
Sagaform has teamed up with product designer Ann-Carin Wiktorsson to create the Piccadilly cake stand with ruffled edges. The 11-inch round cake stand is suitable for all types of cakes, baked goods and cheese pies, the company said.
Alongside the cake stand, the company will launch a 9.5-inch gilded cake server for everyday dining or special occasions. The cake stand and server carry suggested retail prices of $70 and $25 respectively, and are expected to be available March 30.
The company will also launch the Flip Carafe, which was developed in cooperation with designer Robin Levien. The lid transforms between a cover and a pouring spout. The pouring spout is non-drip and the design cuts off the flow of liquid cleanly, making it impossible for drips to run down the carafe.
An added feature is the non-touch opening. Users can squeeze the back of the top and the pouring spout will flip up. This, stated Sagaform, avoids having to touch the end of the spout where liquid flows.
The Flip Carafe is said to fit neatly in a fridge door, and is available in three colors: black, red and blue. It holds 34-ounces and carries a suggested retail price of $45.
