Robinson Home Products is expanding its Celebrated Chefs of CraftKitchen program, with the addition of chef Akhtar Nawab of Brooklyn’s Alta Calidad restaurant. The program partners with chefs from across the country in order to bring inspiration and innovation to its customers, the company said.
The initiative debuted last year with Chicago’s chef Abe Conlon of Fat Rice and chef Diana Dávila of Mi Tocaya Antojería was added earlier this year.
“Chef Nawab’s years of experience in the New York restaurant world and beyond make him the perfect choice for the next chef in our successful Celebrated Chefs series. Chef Nawab’s originality, ingenuity, and talent will inspire our customers to use CraftKitchen products to create culinary magic in their own kitchens,” said Ross Patterson, president of Robinson Home Products.
As a chef in the series, Nawab will supply unique recipes and tips that showcase the ways in which he incorporates a crafted style of cooking. The program will also be featured on the CraftKitchen social media channels, with the aim of creating an online community dedicated to the craft experience. Additionally, the program will also have a retail in-store component available. Through these partnerships, the chefs can be called upon for personal, in-store appearances.
The CraftKitchen collection features a variety of kitchen tools and gadgets made from brushed stainless steel and designed in the classic triple-rivet style. The wood pieces in the line are made from acacia wood, and the cookware is all cast iron.
