Retailers Reveal Their Shelf-Stable Picks For Gifting

Showing 1 of 7

As the holiday season draws near, gourmet housewares retailers are looking for gifting solutions that add value to the customer experience. One of the ways to do this is to create pairings of shelf-stable foods with textiles, pie or cake plates, specialty glassware or other housewares lines. But sometimes, it’s just all about the food.

We asked Jamie Butler, owner of Escalon, CA-based The Butler’s Pantry; Pam Gabriel, owner of Sweet Gourmet in Tyler, TX; Sam Eibling, owner of Goods For Cooks in Bloomington, IN; and Amy Church, owner of Salem, OR-based Willamette Valley Cooking Company, about what shelf-stable foods they will encourage for stocking stuffers and holiday gifting this year.
