Progressive International is rolling out a variety of new PL8 kitchen prep tools at the upcoming International Home + Housewares Show, scheduled to be held March 2 to 5 in Chicago.
The company will debut the Professional Manual Food Processor that has two speed settings and attachments for whipping or chopping with the same tool. It also includes a a chopping blade designed for onion, tomatoes, peppers and similar ingredients. The processor has soft touch grips and non-skid base for secure spinning and includes lid for storing leftovers. It has a suggested retail price of $29.99.
Progressive will also introduce the High-Speed Mini Chopper that features extra- sharp, dual sided blades that work well on delicate herbs. The mini chopper also has a soft grip lid and non-skid base for secure spinning. It measures up to two cups and has a suggested retail price of $19.99.
The company’s Professional Mandoline has a spring-loaded pusher that keeps pressure on produce for even slices. It comes with four adjustsable slicing thicknesses, two julienne and one waffle cut. It also has non-skid feet.
Progressive will also showcase a new 12-ounce ceramic oil dispenser that sprays oil onto ingredients and a porcelain salt cellar. The salt cellar features a stainless steel lid shields salt from dust and other contaminants. It has an approximate 1.25 cup capacity. Both have a suggested retail price of $19.99 each.
