Café Debuts Specialty Drip Coffeemaker

Café appliances is kicking off a new small appliance line beginning with the launch of a specialty drip coffeemaker. The coffeemaker is part of the recent launch of a small electrics line from GE Appliances, a Haier company.

The coffeemaker is available in three curated finishes to complement existing Café appliance collections, including matte white, matte black and stainless steel, with warm copper hardware accents.

The user can customize their coffee strength with two to 10 cup settings and light, medium or dark flavor preferences. The unit maintains the ideal brewing temperature between 185-205 degrees Fahrenheit with precision temperature control and a vacuum carafe that preserves flavor and holds heat for up to two hours. The brewer’s performance has been validated through its certification of quality from the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) as a “Gold Cup” brewer, the company said.

With built-in WiFi, the coffeemaker also offers smart, user-friendly features, including voice-to-brew controls through Alexa and Google, default brew profiles and delayed start through the SmartHQ app to make the experience as seamless as possible.

“Our consumers are becoming their own baristas and making coffee at home more than ever before,” said Wayne Davis, senior brand director for Café. “With this new coffeemaker, we are elevating their at-home coffee experience with the style and performance that they have come to expect from the brand.”

The Café specialty drip coffeemaker will be available at Williams-Sonoma later this month.
