Tamara Childs has entered into a licensing partnership with the F. Scott Fitzgerald estate for her latest designs. The new glassware collection will debut at the upcoming Las Vegas Market, scheduled to be held July 28 to August 1.
The F. Scott Fitzgerald Home Collection, according to the company, is based on the lives and achievements of Scott, author of The Great Gatsby and other short stories and novels, and his wife Zelda. It celebrates the style of Art Nouveau, popular in the 1920’s, the time period in which The Great Gatsby was set. The collection will include signature glass staples from the Childs’ studio such as vases, bowls and platters.
With metallic as the primary design focus, the Tamara Childs collections are crafted based on the ancient art of hand-gilding, using fine sheets in hues of gold, silver and bronze.
