UT Brands has tapped Robert Kushner president and CEO of the company. UT Brands is home to the Urban Trend, Barbuzzo and KidsFunwares lines of kitchenware.
According to the company, Kushner has purchased the remaining shares from past president, Michael Stoll. Kushner, formerly managing director of UT Brands, Hong Kong, has moved back to Southern California to assume the new role. Kushner has 25 years of experience in the housewares industry and is a former U.S. lawyer.
“I am excited for the opportunities ahead for UT Brands. The company is positioned for a bright future with Rob as its leader,” said Stoll.
“Michael has always wanted the chance to have more time with family and to pursue other opportunities, and I could not be happier for him. We thank Michael for over 17 years of dedication and achievement in building a great company,” Kushner said.
