Smithey Ironware has announced the debut of its new No. 10 chef skillet. The skillet is designed with features of the company’s 8-inch skillet after it saw success in the marketplace, said Will Copenhaver, vp/sales and marketing for the company.
“We got feedback that our customers liked the more rounded shape of our 8-inch skillet so we did it in a 10-inch as well,” he said.
Besides the curved shape, the new skillet has an extended handle design. The interior features the company’s signature polished finish, which is also non-stick when seasoned, said Smithey Ironware. Made in the U.S., the No. 10 chef skillet carries a suggested retail price of $140.
