Sioux Falls, SD-based Plum’s Cooking by Simply Perfect will hold a Grand Opening celebration on Sept.16 and Sept.17. Recently renovated by new owner Penny Klinedinst, the store will host two days of events and giveaways.
According to the store’s Facebook page, Plum’s Cooking has invited customers to “experience the new Plum’s with a full day of events.”
On Sept. 16 reps from Wüsthof, Le Creuset, Vitamix and Cask & Cork will be at the store to demonstrate products. The next day, reps from Riedel and Cask & Cork will be giving additional product demonstrations.
Plum’s also stated that it will give a free Epicurean cutting board to the first 20 customers to spend $50 or more each day.
In April, Klinedinst purchased Plum’s from Caroline Peterson, who retired after 30 years of running the business. The renovation adds 500 square feet to the store’s original 2,000 square feet of space.
