Kitchenware Debuts Expand NY Tabletop Market Selection

In addition to a number of tabletop and flatware patterns being introduced at 41 Madison during the New York Tabletop Market this week, kitchenware debuts from cookware to cutlery were also available at vendors across the building.

Rosenthal-Sambonet showcased its new line “From Sambonet To Kitchen,” which features a comprehensive collection of cookware, cutlery, food prep, bakeware and more. Targeted toward the gourmet independent channel, the line features contemporary designs and materials such as stainless steel, terracotta, cast iron, silicone and hardwoods.

On display in the Zak showroom was the company’s new Kitchen to Table line, a collection of food prep and serve tools in Zak’s bright color palette. Arctic glasses, a new double-walled freezable glass that can keep liquids colder longer, were also featured in the Zak showroom.

In the Zwilling J.A. Henckels showroom, the new burnt orange collection of Staub cookware was on display alongside the company’s new flatware collections.

Nambe is also expanding its Gourmet line this year with several new coffee-related products, such as a Coffee Press, Tea Topper, storage canister with built-in scoop for coffee and tea, and two new porcelain lasagna bakers with storage units. For barware, the company introduced a new twist bottle opener and a new bread board with a built in stainless steel serrated knife.

At Hampton Forge, new knifeblocks and cutlery sets were showcased as well from the company’s Signature line. Metaliics were a key trend in the company’s cutlery and flatware launches this year, representatives said.

The Lotus Grill, an indoor smokeless griller, was a key feature for Artland at the Tabletop Market. Considered a “Tabletop” Grill, the Lotus Grill is now available in an XL-size (17.5-inch diameter), big enough to roast a whole turkey. It also comes with a cover for baking or slow cooking.

Across the street at 230 5th Ave was a new introduction from Revol: a collaboration line with Elizabeth Karmel. The Revol/Elizabeth Karmel collection encompasses bakeware and serveware designed for entertaining. Consisting of roughly 10 Revol porcelain products, included were a “Chip and Double Dipper” set, “Cheese and Crackers set.” The Elizabeth Karmel collection will be targeted toward the independent gourmet channel.
