Olive Tree, an olive oil and vinegar specialty store in Overland Park, KS, is expanding. The store will be adding a mix of gourmet housewares as well as cooking classes to its customer offerings as it moves to a larger location.
According to Shawnee Mission Post, a local news outlet, Olive Tree plans to offer up to 10 cooking classes a month featuring well-known local chefs and up-and-coming amateur cooks.
“We understand the trend and demand for building experiences and making memories with friends and family,” Mindy Riley, store owner, told the media outlet.
The store is doubling in capacity at its new location, according to a Facebook post.
“We opened [seven]years ago with a great business plan and much enthusiasm. We still have that same enthusiasm and still have great products but we honestly needed more space for a lot of new things that will be happening. To our many supporters, we [love]you. Thank you for being our cheerleaders, cheering us on when sometimes we couldn’t do it ourselves,” was posted.
