NY Now is preparing its Handmade Designer Maker section for the upcoming summer market.
The section features sourcing from domestic and international brands that offer handcrafted pieces. This August, buyers will discover a growing international presence as well as groups of makers from U.S. cities like Portland and Austin. International pavilions include the British Jewellery & Giftware, the Regional Chamber of Arts & Crafts from the Parisian region, and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in cooperation with the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry.
“This is where connections are made and stories are told,” said Randi Mohr, vp/NY Now Director. “More and more, consumers are driven to purchase based on the stories behind the products, whether it’s a gift for someone else or for themselves. The Handmade Designer Maker section provides buyers an unparalleled opportunity to meet and connect directly with makers across all media to discover new and unique products and the stories behind them. Buyers looking to bring a unique and curated touch to their shop or retail store are sure to find exceptional and high-quality products their customers will crave.”
NY Now will be held August 12 to 15, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
