While consumers continue to be mindful of their sustainable cleaning habits, Now Designs is casting a spotlight on its Ecologie by Danica brand of Swedish Sponge Cloths.
The Ecologie Swedish Sponge Cloths are made from cotton and plant-based cellulose fibers, which makes them a sustainable replacement for paper towels and plastic sponges, said the company.
Each cloth is said to hold up to 15 times its weight in water. The absorbent cloths can be cleaned in the washing machine or placed on the top rack of the dishwasher. The company stated that after about nine months of use, consumers can toss the cloths in the compost.
