As microwave cooking and baking is still top of mind for several segments of consumers, Nordic Ware is debuting several new products that up the ante on what can be made in the microwave.
For those looking to make an elegant dessert in the microwave, whether a college student or a small space dweller, Nordic Ware has a solution. The company recently debuted its micro-mini bundt pans. According to the company, the products can be used to make single-serve portions of bundt cake in the microwave.
Also new to the microwave line is the company’s 3-in-1 colander/steamer/prep bowl, which is designed to allow consumers to use one product to make a variety of different microwaveable meals. This aids with prep, cook and cleanup time, as well as expands the array of microwaveable meal options.
In cookware, the company introduced its new divided meal pans. Made from cast aluminum, these pans come with two or three compartments, allowing consumers to cook several foods at once in the same pan, reducing cleanup time.
The company also showcased its new extra large oven crisp baking tray, which builds upon the company’s original Oven Crisp baking tray, at the recent International Home + Housewares Show. The product was designed to mimic the effect of an air fryer, except in the oven.
Additionally, Nordic Ware is rolling out its new compact kettle smoker. With a suggested retail price of $50, the compact kettle smoker is a personalized version of the company’s original product and allows consumers to smoke foods in the comfort of their own kitchens, said Nordic Ware.
