Winchester, VA-based gourmet store Nibblins has partnered with the United Way this holiday season to help children from more than 400 families have a warm meal on the weekends.
According to the store’s Facebook page, Nibblins will be a drop-off site for new Crock-Pots. The slow cookers will then be donated to families in the Northern Shenandoah Valley. The store will be accepting donations until Dec. 2.
Nibblins recently held a grand re-opening to debut the refreshed look of the store. Owners Susan and Blair Dolinar were the winners of a GC Buying Group contest in which contestants were asked to write a personal narrative telling why their store should be selected for the refresh and submit it along with their renovation wishlist and pictures of their current space.
