Seattle, WA-based Mrs. Cook’s, an independent kitchenware store, is closing after 42 years in business.
According to the retailer’s Facebook page, owner Carol Bromel has decided to retire. To celebrate, the store is hosting a storewide retirement sale and is giving away a $200 shopping spree. The store is scheduled to shutter its doors in January.
Owner Carol Bromel and her husband opened the store in 1976. Mrs. Cook’s carries a wide variety of goods including cookware, bakeware, tabletop accessories, electrics, kitchen tools and gadgets, among other culinary related items.
