Mrs. Anderson’s Baking Brand Adds Silicone Baking Mat Collection

Mrs. Anderson’s Bake Collection, a baking brand developed by Harold Import Company (HIC), will launch the Mrs. Anderson’s Non-Stick Silicone Baking Mat in half-sheet this January. The half-sheet size is the first of a full line of Silicone Baking Mats coming from the company and has a suggested retail price of $12.99.

The Silicone Baking Mat is a commercial-grade baking tool designed for the home baker, the company said. Designed for use in any oven, including convention, the mat transfers heat evenly so bread, pastries and other dough items bake to a golden brown, HIC noted.

Made from food-grade silicone, the baking mats are naturally non-stick and wipe clean. They are constructed of woven glass fibers sealed between the two surfaces to ensure heat transfers evenly. The mats can endure temperatures between -40 and 480 degrees Fahrenheit.

FDA approved and NSF certified, the baking mats are safe for freezing foods as well.

Measuring 11.625- by 16.5-inches, the mat fits standard 13- by 18-inch baking pans and will be the first size available in the new collection. Additional mat sizes are expected to roll out at the International Home + Housewares Show in March, the company said.
