New Albany, IN-based Mesa, A Collaborative Kitchen, cooking school and gourmet shop, will host book author Linda Ruffenach on September 18 for a food and bourbon tasting. Ruffenach is the author of “How To Be a Bourbon Badass.”
According to the retailer’s Facebook page, guests will enjoy four different tastings paired with a cheese and charcuterie plate; Krispy Kreme Bourbon Barbecue Pork Sliders; and Flatbread Pizza with Prosciutto, Bourbon Fig Jam and Arugula. In addition, there will be a re-creation of the pairing Linda did at the James Beard House featuring Chef Carla Hall’s Banana Pudding with Bourbon Caramel.
The event is scheduled to take place from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with a cocktail hour at 6 p.m.
