Mary Moore, founder and owner of The Cook’s Warehouse, announced she is handing day-to-day management of the store and cooking school to her management team.
“My journey with The Cook’s Warehouse from an idea to reality has been incredibly rewarding. The combination of my early passion for business, cooking and hospitality to sharing this love through retailing — and growing it into Atlanta’s premiere cookware retail store and cooking school has truly been a dream come true,” said Moore.
She continued, “I have a passionate, dedicated and seasoned management team that capably manages the day-to-day operations and is also well-positioned to creatively growing and improving the business. I am excited to see their great work and leadership take the business to new heights.”
Paul Zang will oversee the flagship store in Ansley Mall; Nealey Thompson, executive chef, will manage and grow the award-winning cooking school; and Ashley Laurens will lead e-commerce business and operations; together they will share marketing and other responsibilities. Key to rounding out the team are long-time veterans Gregg Smith, senior merchant, and Suzy Ware, office manager and accounts payable.
Moore was recently tapped by International Market Centers to be the svp/omnichannel buyer engagement.
