Marcel’s Culinary Experience, a Glen Ellyn, IL-based gourmet retailer, will host blogger and cookbook author Maureen Abood on June 7, 2015.
Abood has recently published “Rose Water & Orange Blossoms,” a cookbook which delves deeply and delectably into the cuisine of Lebanon. She will head to Marcel’s to do a demo and sign books from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
A writer, cook and photographer, Abood has her own blog which was named the 2014 Best Food Blog, Reader’s Choice for Regional Cuisine by Saveur magazine.
Marcel’s Culinary Experience, owned by Jill Foucré, offers more than 200 cooking classes per year; is stocked with tableware, kitchen tools, cookware and more; and offers a variety of cheeses, breads and wines.
