MacKenzie-Childs Brings Fresh Design To Atlanta

MacKenzie-Childs will introduce its 2019 spring collection at the upcoming Atlanta International Gift + Home Furnishings Market, scheduled to be held July 10 to 16 at AmericasMart.

According to the company, the Spring 2019 offerings include the new Royal Check dinnerware line, a new candle collection called MacKenzie-Childs Glow, as well as a partnership with Scout Bags.

The new Royal Check is an enamelware collection that features hand-painted royal blue and white checks similar to MacKenzie-Childs’s Courtly Check and Parchment Check, which the company stated are customer favorites. Royal Check includes everything from dinner plates, to canisters, serving platters, tea kettles, salt and pepper shakers, placemats, aprons and linens.

Meanwhile MacKenzie-Childs Glow is a collection of dinner, pillar, scented, and iconic shaped candles. The company stated that it partnered with Alina Bednarz, formerly of Et Al Designs, to create a new point of view on MacKenzie-Childs that celebrates a broader story of its direction in home.

Additionally, MacKenzie-Childs will introduce a co-branded collection with SCOUT Bags which will feature patterned, portable coolers, and casserole carriers. The line is available in two patterns, Dotty, all black and white, and Ikat, with splashes of pinks, reds, blacks, and whites. Signature handles feature MacKenzie-Childs’ traditional Courtly Check pattern.

“This season is especially exciting for us,” noted Rebecca Proctor, chief brand officer for MacKenzie-Childs. “Our designs came together beautifully for Spring 2019 with a nod to British style campaign living with a bohemian spin, and a wink to the ‘60s with a collection of furniture, elaborate pillows, and barware. MacKenzie-Childs Glow is a natural direction for us as well.”
