Lodge Cast Iron Highlights Cornbread Making Assortment

The National Cornbread Cook-Off in South Pittsburgh, TN, which has been sponsored by Lodge Cast Iron for the last 25 years, was recently canceled due to the current climate surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, the company is still celebrating cornbread as part of Lodge’s heritage, especially as bread making in general has been trending amongst consumers, by highlighting its collection of goods for making cornbread.

The Cornstick pan is designed to bake bread and provides seven impressions shaped like ears of corn, which are designed to making dunking easy. The pan is seasoned with 100% natural vegetable oil and made in the U.S. It’s available in both a 9-inch and 12-inch size and has a suggested retail price range of $12.95 to $15.95.

The cast iron loaf pan, which is available for $16.95, has a dual handle design so that users can easily lift the pan in and out of the oven. The pan comes seasoned and ready to use, the company said, and has an easy-release finish.

The company’s cast iron wedge pan is made for cooking crispy cornbread, scones, and cake. The pan is separated into eight sections for individual, ready-to-serve portions. It is designed for superior heat distribution and retention for consistent, even baking, noted Lodge. It has a suggested retail price of $22.95.

Lodge’s cast iron mini cake pan, available for $33.95, is designed for individual portions of corn muffins, biscuits or desserts. It has an easy-release finish and is designed for use in the oven.
