Frank Johnston, who directed the housewares initiatives for Lenox Corporation, passed away last week after an illness. He was 63.
Johnston, a 15-year housewares industry veteran, was general manager of the housewares division for Lenox. Before joining Lenox, Johnston served in senior management capacities with a number of housewares companies, including chief operating positions with All-Clad Metalcrafters and Waterford-Wedgwood. He also served as COO of Hartmann luggage.
“Frank was an incredibly multi-talented executive,” said Peter Cameron, CEO of Lenox Corporation. “He had a strong financial background, but he also had a great sense for business and a great way with people.”
“Frank was always quick to laugh,” Cameron continued.” He was warm, gregarious and very thoughtful— a gentle giant.”
A Celebration of Life Service for Johnston is set for Saturday, September 27, 6 p.m.-8 p.m., and Sunday, September 28, 10:30 a.m.-noon at Brusco-Falvo Funeral Home in Mount Washington, PA.
