Fall routines mean busy school nights and dorm living, which can make creating healthy meals with limited time or resources a challenge. Lékué is helping consumers combat this issue with its line of steam cases, which are designed to steam food in the microwave.
The steam case, which has a suggested retail price of $17 or $25 including the steam cookbook, is designed to microwave a cornerstone in your eating style for steaming, the company said.
The deep steam case with tray, which carries a suggested retail price of $22 for the one to two person size and $35 for the three to four person size and cookbook, can make soups, stews and casseroles in the microwave in 10 minutes, the company said. It can also be used in the oven.
All of the products are designed to be easy-to-clean with neutral soap, without using abrasives. However, they can be placed in the dishwasher if the proper temperature is maintained. Lékué offers a 10 year warranty for manufacturer’s defects.
