This winter, as part of its expanded Pavilions showcase, Las Vegas Market will incorporate a comprehensive collection of temporary exhibitors providing vintage, antique and one-of-a-kind merchandise in Discoveries: The Antique Vintage Marketplace.
The market will offer exclusive programming as an adjunct to the Discoveries exhibitor presentations, such as Vintage Style for Modern Living, a panel discussion presented in partnership with The Round Top Register on Monday, January 29, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., in the Pavilions 2 seminar room. Panelists scheduled include designer Cathy Robinson Hutton, owner of Houston’s Renovate, a combination design studio and artisanal design shop, and Matt White, owner of Recycling the Past, an architectural salvage company based in Round Top, Texas and Barnegat, NJ.
The market will sponsor two sessions of Touring the Trends through Discoveries with Ruby Lane, hosted by Ruby Lane and Antique Young Guns U.S.A. and led by Rachael Hoffman, antiques blogger and consultant for Ruby Lane, and operations manager for Turn of the Century Antiques. Tours will be held Monday, January 29, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., and Tuesday, January 30 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
For buyers, Discoveries provides an array of found objects, antiques, repurposed and recycled home décor, furnishings, jewelry and clothing, all available for order writing and immediate delivery. These resources will be presented alongside Las Vegas Market’s existing Home and new Design Home categories, and concurrently with the debut of Artexpo Las Vegas as IMC seeks to develop cross-category synergies and efficiencies for buyers.
