Kyocera has introduced the Fuji Ceramic Knives, which combines zirconia ceramic blades with weathered brown, handmade pakkawood handles.
The knives, said the company, are inspired by the Fuji Sanctuary in Japan. The hand-crafted blade with double-sided edge beveling is made in Japan and designed for slicing boneless meats and vegetables.
The pakkawood handle provides the consumer with balance and control and contrasts the white blade. The new collection is available with a utility, santoku and chef’s knife with a suggested retail price range of $59.95 to $79.95.
