Frieling has launched the Küchenprofi Ravioli/Dumpling Maker, a kitchen tool designed for home cooks to prepare homemade ravioli, dumplings and more.
The tool is compact with a 4.75-inch diameter, and is also capable of making turnovers, pot stickers, Pierogi, mini spinach pies, bite-size calzones and more, using classic recipes or personalized flavors and ingredients.
It is made of 18/10 stainless steel, and features two handles, one on each side, that make it easy to open and close. When it is open, the bottom edge of the gadget features an edge used to cut dough into a circle. To use, consumers lay the dough over the tool while opened, add a mound of filling and then close it. It will automatically cut, seal and crimp the edges, creating a packet, ready to cook or bake.
“This is one of my favorite gadgets, because the results are so impressive – yet the process is so simple. When you look at the popularity of Italian, Asian and other ethnic cuisines – not to mention the universal appeal of hot, home baked turnovers – you can see the sales potential of the Küchenprofi Ravioli/Dumpling Maker,” said Monika Schnacke, CEO of Frieling USA.
It is dishwasher safe and available for immediate shipment, with a suggested retail price of $27.95.
