“Whoa! An incredible thank you to @theimproper and our incredible customers for making us #BostonsBest for 2016! What an honor! Now to try and be even better,” was posted on the store’s Facebook page.
The Improper Bostonian noted that “the store may be tiny — teapots and colanders find room to hang overhead — but it’s brimming with pans, bowls, cookbooks, utensils and more, making it a go-to spot for finding a gift or the tools you need to mix your own magic potions.”
The store is owned by Rose Sargent, a Jamaica Plain native.
