Kitchen Kapers Kicks Off 40th Anniversary Events

Kitchen Kapers is celebrating 40 years in business this year. To kick off the anniversary events, the 10-store gourmet housewares chain, which has locations in Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, announced a sale on the Vitamix 750 Blender. However, the company said on its Facebook page that it is planning more specials during the fall season to commemorate the milestone.

“Did you know that we’re celebrating our 40th Anniversary this year? We’ve got some exciting events lined up for the fall, so stay tuned for more info,” the social media page noted.

Started by Harold and Pearl Kratchman, Kitchen Kapers opened its first store in Voorhees, NJ in 1975. The company, which is still family-owned, launched its website and mail-order business in 1999 and currently offers cooking classes at its Moorestown, NJ-based store. The company “prides [itself]on on providing our customers with service that is friendly, personalized, knowledgeable, and efficient,” according to the website.
