Kitchen Company, located in Longmont, CO, will host a mozzarella cheese making class with The Art of Cheese, a local cheese shop, on Friday, March 20.
According to the retailer, the class will be taught by The Art of Cheese owner Kelly Liebrock. The class will focus on fresh mozzarella, part of the Pasta Filata family of “stretched curd” cheese. In addition, Liebrock will also teach attendees to make fresh burrata, a popular mozzarella variation.
In addition, the class will cover all the basics of home cheesemaking, from what equipment and ingredients needed, to how the science of cheesemaking works and how to source the best milks for making these particular cheeses. Samples and recipes will also be provided.
