Longmont, CO-based Kitchen Company will host Kate Johnson, founder of The Art of Cheese, on June 20 for a cheesemaking class.
According to the retailer’s Facebook page, Johnson, who owns The Art of Cheese, a locally based cheesemaking school, will guide participants on how to make homemade cheese. In addition, Johnson will offer tastes of a variety of locally made artisan cheeses as she walks students through the different techniques used to make each one.
At the end of class, participants will leave with simple recipes to try at home and will have the opportunity to purchase cheesemaking supplies from Kitchen Company as well as several Haystack Mountain cheeses at a discounted price. This cost of the class is $20.
Kitchen Company opened in 2017 and is owned by Kirsten Pellicer.
