Kiss the Cook, which has locations in Burlington, VT and Middlebury, VT, is celebrating its 28th business anniversary. The store will be hosting a sale from October 18 to October 20 in order to mark the milestone.
According to the Kiss the Cook Facebook page, both stores will be discounting goods up to 20% and will also have raffles throughout the weekend. Additionally, there will be cake for those who drop in on Sunday.
Kiss the Cook’s website notes the store is, “continually add[ing]new products and fresh ideas. We pride ourselves on our product knowledge and experience, here you’ll find the area’s largest selection of knives and we professionally sharpen knives.”
The housewares store has been locally owned and operated since the 1990s. Originally founded by Marie Bouffard and Mike Soulia, who operated the store for more than 20 years, Kiss the Cook was purchased by Luke and Ashley Wight in 2014. In 2017, the brand expanded by taking over the operations of Otter Creek Kitchen & Electronics, also in Middlebury, VT.
