Austin, TX-based gourmet housewares retailer Kettle & Brine has launched Heirloom, the store’s wedding gift registry. Customers can purchase products from the registry in-store, over the phone or, beginning in March, online.
“Bridal registries are a fantastic way to fill your home with the right tools for the job, but there aren’t a lot of registry options for couples seeking unique versions of those tools that have been handcrafted and responsibly manufactured, so we are thrilled to be that resource,” said Tarica Navarro, owner of Kettle & Brine.
The Heirloom Bridal Registry includes the following services:
- A personalized one-hour consultation to review the couple’s cooking routines, entertaining habits, design aesthetic and overall lifestyle.
- An in-depth review of the couple’s existing inventory of kitchen equipment, tabletop collection, and entertaining accouterment to assess needs, redundancies, excess and obsolescence.
- A customized registry, including recommendations of useful tools and accessories based on the couple’s cooking and entertaining style, heirloom quality equipment upgrades, and inventory simplification by with the right tool for the job
- In addition to the existing Kettle & Brine inventory, members of the bridal registry can place special orders from the boutique’s roster of international vendors and small-batch makers and work with Navarro to create custom designs produced by Kettle & Brine’s partner artisans.
Navarro also stated that gifts can either be picked up as they are purchased, or stored until after the wedding and collected all at once. Couples can fulfill their registry by purchasing any remaining items with a 10% completion discount.
