Karmin’s Kitchen Table, a Bismarck, ND-based independent gourmet housewares store, recently donated more than $2,000 to local charities.
According to the store’s Facebook page, the money was raised through “Cooking With The Community,” a series of cooking classes in which a member of the community comes in and teaches the class. The store has given donations to Bismarck Alley Art, Designer Genes of North Dakota, Edith Sanford Breast Foundation, Central Dakota Children’s Choir and Bismarck Cancer Center.
“Thank you to the ‘celebrity’ chefs that graced our kitchen and to those of you that have supported our small business during these events. Onward and upward,” was posted on the store’s social media page.
The store, owned by Karmin Billadeau, recently celebrated its first business anniversary.
