JIA Inc., in collaboration with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, an industrial designer, design educator and author, has added a wok to its [Monolithic Cookware] collection. The wok is made of carbon steel.
According to the company, the wok inherits signature minimalistic design from Naoto Fukasawa. The product, said JIA, is durable, weighs 30% less than similar cookware, and features an ergonomic handle for a firm and comfortable grip.
The company is also rolling out several new accessories that combine with the new Monolithic wok for a full cooking experience, said JIA, including a Chinese turner, lid, lid rest and utensil holder.
JIA launched the Monolithic collection of cookware in fall 2018. The The [Monolithic Cookware] set contains three pans and several other accessories, including a flat pan, single-handle pan, double-handle pot, spatula, colander and soup spoon.
