Jacobsen Salt, located in Portland, OR, is debuting a line of seasonings to the market, including steak seasoning, taco seasoning, seafood seasoning and ramen seasoning.
The steak seasoning, which is available for $8, starts with a base of sea salt from the Oregon coast and is then combined with other spices. The company said that it is designed to complement steak, pork and chicken.
The taco seasoning, which has a suggested retail price of $7, starts with sea salt from Italy and is then blended with peppers, smoked paprika and herbs.
Also available for $7 is the company’s new seafood seasoning. This seasoning also starts with salt base and then cayenne, bay leaves, ground mustard, cinnamon and allspice are added to it. It can be used on any type of fish as well as in a Bloody Mary.
Jacobsen Salt is also bringing a ramen seasoning to the market. The seasoning is made with ginger, garlic, white pepper and organic yeast extract as well as sea salt from Italy. The company notes that the product is soy- and GMO-free. It is available for $7.
