Jacobsen Salt Launches San Pablo Worm & Chile Salt Flavor


Jacobsen Salt, based in Portland, OR, has teamed up with Masienda, a company that sources hand-harvested, heirloom varietals of corn from farmers on both sides of the border, for its newest flavor.

San Pablo Worm & Chile salt includes San Pablo worms that were harvested from wild plants in the Central Valley of Oaxaca, Mexico with Jacobsen’s hand-harvested, pure sea salt, the company said. The chilies are designed to add heat to the flavor.

According to the company, the salt will only be available for a limited time and has a suggested retail price of $15.
