Jacobsen Salt is teaming up with public benefit corporation, Burlap & Barrel, for the launch of its latest product, black lime salt.
According to the company, the black lime salt is a smoky seasoning salt with a bright citrus finish. It is made from limes grown in Guatemala that are then dried until they turn black and then ground. These grindings are combined with the company’s pure Kosher sea salt. Jacobsen suggests using the salt on meats, vegetables or in cocktails.
Burlap & Barrel supports smallholder farms with the goal of building equitable, transparent and traceable international food supply chains.
