International Emerging Designers Debut At NYIGF’s Accent On Design

New international design companies will participate in the winter New York International Gift Fair’s “A+: The Young Designers’ Platform” showcase within Accent on Design.
“Our search for fresh and unique design perspectives extends beyond geographical boundaries,” said Dorothy Belshaw, NYIGF director and svp/George Little Management.
“A+” will include Sangwoo Nam, sAppree Co. of Seoul, South Korea, who creates nature-inspired functional home accesories; Jung Woo Lee, ekdesign, also of Seoul, who is said to bring expressive design to functional office products; James Minola and Chelsea Green, Grain from Bainbridge Island, WA, a design collaborative which creates and produces home and personal accessories; Marie-Pier Guilmain and Maud Beauchamp, Loyal Luxe, of Mont-St-Hilaire, Canada, who have created a “chalet for cats,” a cardboard house for cats or other small domestic pets; Jiyeon Ahn and Jieun Jim, Luca of Seoul, a female design duo that creates playful lighting and home accessories; and Munire Kirmaci, munire kirmaci, of Brooklyn, NY, who designs home accessories and interior spaces.
